MUSIC COMPOSER | ARTIST BASED IN LONDON, ENGLAND

W E L C O M E

My name is Michael Tyler Bain (artist name: Bainthoven)
I'm a Music Composer, Artist, and Mental Health Advocate based in London, England
creating music to be used in:
FILM | TV | VIDEO GAMES | DOCUMENTARIES | TRAILERS | COMMERCIALS

As someone who has had to overcome a lot of obstacles in a journey towards better mental health, those life experiences have brought about a unique perspective to write from that lends itself well to themes of melancholy, hope, and resilience. Feeling deeply, I do my best to translate emotions by empathizing with characters.

Being an artist, I also have a passion for video production, digital matte painting (no AI, ever), and photography.

FRAGMENTS IN THE FOG
FULL-LENGTH DEBUT ALBUM, COMING SUMMER 2026

FITF_CoverArt_Full.jpg

''A tale of overcoming one's demons''

Fragments in the Fog is a very personal project; a wish and a promise to myself regarding my lifelong struggles with mental health. Written over the past 5 years while going through treatment for Major Depressive Disorder, C-PTSD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and battles with suicidal feelings, this instrumental album tells a story: beginning with 'Into The Storm' (an approaching depressive episode), exploring the various feelings and internal struggles in subsequent tracks, through to eventually facing your demons head-on, making it through the storm...having finally found peace.

Even without lyrics,

It is my hope that this can be a comfort album

for someone out there struggling,

as I have had many over the years

(KoЯn's 'The Nothing' comes to mind).

If you can relate: you are not alone.
